After breakfast you're upset with some depressing news
Comment section full of discriminatory views
How is it so normal to proclaim fascist ideals?
Well, you're not the only one who feels

This instantaneous rush of anxiety
With the collapse of the whole society
Your instability is by design, you see
Between the feed and the swipe
They creep inside your mind
Wanting to take control
Inventing problems you don't have
To sell you products you don't need to own

Lunch break with your friends stories in between the ads
Settling for this and never meeting them instead
Influencers acting rich and happy to their crowds
Inciting the fear of missing out

Job is done, face filters on, it's time to make a post
But why bother getting only half the reach at most?
Well, unless you have a flawless body to reveal
It's just unavoidable to feel
